POlka Doodle Challenge Week 3 & Sew many challenges

Heres my card I made for a couple of challenges.

Polka doodles challenge you had to follow a sketch and then http://sewmanychallenges.com you had to use purple white and a splash of black.

I used a penny black image and coloured with copics,then I embossed some lovely DCWV lattee black paper with divine swirls (yummy)then used a free download off of http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com fior the paper and DCWV pocket of poises paper for the sripes as well.I found some lovely white buttons and this lovley fluffy ribboney stuff and thought got to use that lol.Hope you like.

Gypsy designing

Heres another valentines card I made,looking at it it could be for anything really.I used my gypsy to make the borders of hearts ...I think it was off of gypsy wanderings and just welded them together and taa daa my first welded thing lol.I loved this penny black image I got in a stamp swap so had to use it.I coloured using copics pens and just added a peel off sentiment hope you like.

Get Funky and Craft Challenge-January Spots and Stripes

This is first time I have entered a challenge at http://getfunkyandcraft.blogspot.com The challenge is to use spots and stripes including a Funky Hand product,so I downloaded the polka dot freebie paper from the website.I coloured the image with copic pens,and cut the sentiment with gypsy wanderings cart and the stripes is using some paper I found in my stash.Hope you like.

Another valentine card

Heres another valentine card I made yesterday.I just love these magnolia stamp images I really must buy some as Im getting low on images I got from a stamp swap.I coloured her using my copics again and just rummaged in my paper stash for some pretty pink paper.I think the sentiment is from Gypsy wanderings cart but cant be sure??Hope you like.

Heres my entry for Polkadoodles new challenge-Love.I used the freebie download from the website pink polka dots backing paper,the heart is from Gypsy wanderings cart and the cute bears are from a stamp swap,I coloured them using my trusty copics and just added a bit of ribbon from my stash.Hope you like.

A valentine card

Heres a card I made for another challenge but I missed the deadline DOH!!!I still wanted to post it though because the image was from a stamp swap I did last year over on Cricut.com and I got this image from such a sweet lovely person who is no longer with us.x x x

I used DCWV butterflies and blossoms paper again,I found the metal word in my stash while having a sort out and just used nesties for thr little circle with some plain pink card.I coloured the image with copic pens and just did a bit of dooling around the edge.Hope you like Karen x x x

Lilly boos challenge

Heres my first challenge of the year...Lily-boo too challenge blog I love these lady birds and they are a free download so I had to use them.I used DCWV blossom and butterflies paper,I printed out the image twice and decoupaged the ladybirds and the heart.I coloured them with copic pens and put them on a scallop circle embossed with swirls.Hope you like Karen x x x x

Family christmas cards 2009

Heres the christmas card I sent to family 2009.I forgot to take a picture when making them so just pinched this from Tonys mum.I wanted something simple and quick to make as I had to make quite a few of them.I used cuttlebug tree embossing folder on some mirri board matted and layered with some plain card and finished it off with a bit of ribbon.....oh also I used sakura pens to colour in a few of the baubles on the tree but it doesnt really show in the picture.

A New Year

Happy new year everyone Im so sorry I have been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks or even months.Hopefully everything is back to normal after christmas,new year and snow days with everyone home from school and work.

I have promised myself Im going to start doing challenges agian and look at the blogs Im following.

I have just ordered a Gypsy so this will hopefully boost my mojo and get my butt moving agin on making cards.

If anyone has any good tips for using their Gypsy would you please share them as Im a bit nervous about the Gypsy as I dont use Design Studio or SCAL with my Cricut.
